Ahana
Finally, without any drama, we got married. I was so tense after getting that doll threat, thinking something would definitely go wrong. But surprisingly, everything went peacefully. Everything happened just the way it was supposed to. No interruptions, no chaos, no fear.
And now... came the part I was dreading the most.
A goodbye to bhaiya.
The few days I stayed with bhaiya were something I had wished for... for years. And when I finally got the chance to live under the same roof as him, laugh with him, annoy him, and make countless memories together... I had to leave him. It felt like life had finally fulfilled the wish I had carried in my heart for years. But just when I got everything I had longed for, it was already time to say goodbye.
Even though I knew I had to leave and had been preparing myself for this moment... I still wasn't ready for this goodbye.
I stood outside with everyone as the preparations for my vidai began. The atmosphere that had been filled with wedding laughter just an hour ago had suddenly turned silent. Everyone watched us with teary eyes while the decorated car waited a few steps away. My hands trembled around the edge of my dupatta as I looked at bhaiya standing in front of me. His eyes were already red, yet he was forcing a smile for me.
"Rona bilkul mat, guriya. You got the man of your dreams. The love of your life. The man who'd move heaven and earth just to see you smile." He spoke softly but his voice trembled after every word. "Bas itna yaad rakh... tu jitni khush rahegi, utna hi tera bhai chain se rahega. Isliye kabhi apni khushi ko khud se door mat hone dena."
(Just remember this... the happier you are, the more at peace your brother will be. So never let your happiness drift away from you)
I immediately shook my head before throwing myself into his arms. The tears I had been holding back finally escaped, soaking his sherwani as I cried uncontrollably. His familiar embrace made it even harder to let go. It felt like if I stepped away from him now, a part of my heart would stay behind forever. I clutched him tighter as if refusing to let this moment end.
"Aisa mat boliye, bhaiya... please." I cried, my voice breaking between sobs. "Mujhe aapko chhor kar bilkul jaane ka mnn nahi hai. Abhi toh mujhe aapke saath aur rehna tha. Mey itne saalon baad aapko paayi thii... aur ab phir se door jaa rahi hoon. Mujhse nahi hoga, bhaiya. Main kaise rahungi aapke bina?"
(Please don't say that, Bhaiya...)
(I don't want to leave you at all. I wanted to spend more time with you. I found you again after so many years... and now I'm being separated from you once more. I can't do this, Bhaiya. How will I live without you?)
He gently patted my head as his own tears rolled down his cheeks. "Pagal ladki..." he whispered with a shaky smile. "Aise royegi na, toh tera bhai tujhe sach mein jaane nahi dega. Bahut mushkil se khud ko rok raha hoon. Agar tu ek aur baar bol de ki tu nahi jaana chahti... toh shayad main sab bhool jaaun aur tujhe yahin rok loon."
(You silly girl)
(If you keep crying like this, your brother really won't be able to let you go. I'm holding myself back with great difficulty. If you say just one more time that you don't want to leave... I might forget everything and keep you here with me forever.)
I choked on my tears. "Bhai... I'm gonna miss you so much." I cried, my voice barely coming out as another sob escaped my lips.
"If you do, just give me a call. No matter where I am, I'll come running to you. I promise, ahu." He said with a small smile despite the tears in his eyes. He slowly broke the hug, cupped my face, and gently wiped away my tears with his thumbs. His hands lingered on my cheeks for a moment before he took my trembling hand and placed it in Aastik's.
"Jab pehli baar meri guriya ko leke gaya tha, tab bhi maine yahi baat bola thi... aur aaj bhi wahi bol raha hoon." His voice cracked as he lowered his gaze for a second, trying to control himself. "Meri jaan ka ek tukda leke jaa raha hai. Main bheek maangne ke liye bhi taiyaar ho jaunga... bas iss tukde ko hamesha khush rakhna...."
(When you took my little kiddo away for the first time, I said the very same thing... and today, I'm saying it again.)
(You're taking away a piece of my soul. I'd even be willing to beg if I had to... just keep this piece of my heart happy, always.)
Aastik didn't let him finish.... He just quickly pulled bhaiya into a tight, brotherly hug.
Bhaiya hugged him back just as tightly as both of them stood there silently for a moment.
"Teri behen ab meri zindagi ka kaaran hai, Daivik." Aastik said as he slowly pulled back, looking straight into his eyes. "Uske liye main jaan le bhi sakta hoon... aur zarurat pari toh apni jaan khushi khushi de bhi sakta hoon."
(Your sister is now the reason I live, Daivik.)
(For her as I can take a life without hesitation... In the same way if the time ever comes, I can gladly give away my own life for her too.)
After that, I walked towards my girls. The moment our eyes met, none of us could hold back anymore. Without saying a single word, they rushed forward and pulled me into a tight group hug.
Jaanvi was the first one to break down completely. "Jiju ko paake humein bhool mat jaana, warna sach mein tujhse baat karna chhor dungi main."
(Don't forget us after finding your husband, or I swear I'll stop talking to you for real.)
She cried loudly, wiping her tears with the back of her hand. "Aur khud ka khayal rakhna... aur humare little pea ka bhi. Hum zyada se zyada tujhse milne aane ki koshish karenge. Promise."
(And take care of yourself... and our little pea too. We'll try our best to come and meet you as often as we can. Promise.)
I nodded while trying to stop my own tears. Slowly breaking the hug, I looked at all of them with a smile that was barely holding together. "You guys are always welcome. Aur baat rahi bhoolne ki... yeh bolke itna chhota mat feel karwao. Tum sabke bina main hoon hi kya?"
(You guys are always welcome. And as for forgetting you... don't make me feel so small by saying that. What am I without all of you?)
Jaanvi sniffled and with a pout she said "Hum bas tujhe khush dekhna chahte hain." She whispered. "Aur agar Jiju ne kabhi tujhe pareshan kiya na... toh hum sab milke unki class laga denge."
(We just want to see you happy)
(And if Jiju ever troubles you... then all of us will come together and teach him a lesson.)
I laughed through my tears before finally turning towards Ishani. She stood there quietly with a gentle smile on her face, though her eyes had already given away how emotional she was.
"Stay happy." She whispered softly.
I smiled back before taking both her hands into mine. "I hope this time you really find someone who's meant for you Ishani. Someone who loves you with every breath he takes. Someone who chooses you every single day without making you question your worth."
She didn't say anything. She simply nodded with moist eyes before leaning forward and placing a soft kiss on my forehead. "I'll wait for that person." She whispered. "Until then... I'll just be happy knowing you got yours."
I smiled at her one last time before walking towards my two brothers. The moment I reached them, I instinctively bent down to touch their feet, but before I could, both of them immediately stopped me.
"Yeh kya kar rahi hai, behen?" Avyan bhai asked in shock. "Tum pair chhoo kar humein paap ki bhaagidaar banaogi kya? Tum koi parayi nahi ho... meri apni behen jaisi ho. Khoon ka rishta bhale hi nahi hai, lekin dil ka hai. Aur yaad rakhna, duniya idhar ki udhar ho jaaye, tera yeh bhai hamesha tere saath khada milega. Bhale hi uss wajah se mujhe Aastik ke bhi khilaaf kyun na jaana pare."
("What are you doing, sister?)
(Are you going to make us a part of a sin by touching our feet? You are not an outsider... you are like my own sister. We may not share a blood relation, but we share one of the hearts. And remember this, no matter how much the world turns upside down, you will always find your brother standing by your side. Even if it means I have to stand against Aastik.)
His words genuinely touched my heart. I had always known him as the funniest person in the group, the one who never let anyone stay serious for more than a minute. Seeing him this emotional... this vulnerable... felt so new... Ekdam unlikely of him.
"Aap itne emotional aur sad bilkul acche nahi lag rahe, Avyan bhai." I said with a watery chuckle. "Mujhe toh aapka cute aur funny wale version mein hi pasand hai."
("You don't look good being so emotional and sad, Avyan bhai)
(I like you better in your cute and funny version.)
He laughed through his tears before lightly flicking my forehead. "Drama queen." He muttered, trying to hide his emotions.
Then I turned towards Bhuvan bhai. He silently pulled me into a small hug before stepping back.
"I once told you that you'd change him." He smiled, his eyes shining with pride. "Aur tumne sirf usse badla nahi... usse jeena bhi sikha diya. I'm proud of you, Ahana. This brother is extremely very proud of you."
(And you didn't just help him get his revenge... you taught him how to live again too. I'm proud of you, Ahana. This brother is incredibly proud of you.)
"Thanks, Bhuvan bhai..." I smiled before my eyes shifted towards Jaanvi. Then I looked back at him with a teasing smile. "I hope you also meet your Miss Perfect... oh sorry... Miss Chaotic very, very soon."
The moment I said that, his eyes unconsciously landed on Jaanvi for a brief second before he looked away.
"I don't think I have room for someone in my life anymore." He smiled but it didn't reach his eyes "I'm happy just watching the people I care about get their happy endings. That's enough for me."
His words sounded light.... But there was something hidden beneath that smile. Something heavy... something painful. It felt as if he had gone through wounds that still refused to heal, wounds he had buried so deep that no one could reach them anymore.
I didn't say anything. I simply looked at him for a moment and silently prayed that one day... life would prove him wrong.
And then, after giving one final glance to bhaiya, I stepped inside the car and sat down.
Aastik still hadn't gotten inside as he stood a few steps away, talking to bhaiya. From the expressions on their faces, I could tell it wasn't an ordinary conversation. Both of them looked serious, as if discussing something important.
Exhaustion from the wedding rituals slowly caught up to me. I leaned back against the seat and closed my eyes for just a second, trying to calm my emotions.
But then suddenly, the car jerked violently before a loud screech of tires pierced through the silence, making my eyes snap open in shock.
I frowned in confusion and looked ahead only to realize the driver had already started the car. "Excuse me... what are you doing?" I asked but before I could process anything else, the car shot forward.
My heart instantly dropped.
I immediately turned around through the rear window.
Everyone stood frozen for a split second before panic spread across their faces. Bhaiya's eyes widened in horror while Aastik abruptly turned towards the moving car.
The very next second, all of them started running behind it. I could see Aastik shouting something, his face filled with alarm, while bhaiya sprinted beside him without caring about anything else.
"What the hell are you doing? Stop the car!" I screamed, gripping the front seat tightly. "Aastik isn't inside! I said stop the car right now!" My voice echoed inside the vehicle but the driver didn't respond. It was as if he hadn't even heard me.
Within seconds, the car crossed the mansion gates. Instead of slowing down, it accelerated even more, throwing me back against the seat. My breathing became uneven as fear settled deep inside me. Something is terribly wrong.
I quickly got up from my seat and leaned forward, towards the driver's seat intending to grab the steering wheel.
"Stop the car!" I shouted once again.
When the driver slowly turned his face towards me.
My blood ran cold.
He wasn't our driver.
His face was completely different.
Before I could even react or move back, he pulled out a small spray bottle and pressed it right in front of my face.
"What-"
A strange chemical smell instantly filled my nose.
Within seconds, my vision blurred.
The entire
car began spinning around me.
My legs lost all strength as darkness slowly swallowed everything in front of my eyes.
And then...
Everything went black.

"Welcome to my world, doll. The cage awaits you." Someone said with a dark chuckle, that person's voice carrying a strange excitement and cruelty.
He is the same person who had kidnapped Ahana just a few moments ago. As he drove through the deserted road, his eyes shifted to the rearview mirror where Ahana's unconscious figure lay peacefully in the back seat.
A twisted smile slowly appeared on his face as he realized that the one he had been waiting for was finally in his hands. Every single step had been planned with patience. Every movement, every opportunity, every possibility had been calculated long before this moment.
He knew Aastik and his gang were extremely cautious throughout the entire wedding. They were watching every person, every movement, and every little detail because of the previous threat. He knew directly interfering during the rituals would be impossible. One wrong move and he would have been caught before even getting close to Ahana.
So he waited.
He waited for the perfect moment.
The moment when everyone would be distracted by emotions. The moment when everyone's attention would be on the vidai. The moment when Ahana would be away from Aastik for only a few seconds.
And just as he had predicted...
He succeeded.
He didn't stop the car even once. He knew Aastik and everyone else would immediately try to follow him, track every possible route and do everything they could to save Ahana.
And taking any unnecessary risk wasn't an option for him. A mistake from his side would mean losing the game before it even started. His grip tightened around the steering wheel as he drove further away from the city. For him, this wasn't just a kidnapping... it was the beginning of something he had been waiting for.
After thirty minutes, the car finally came to a stop in front of a massive mansion surrounded by darkness. The place looked less like a home and more like a hidden kingdom of secrets.
The huge gates opened slowly and the guards immediately rushed forward to welcome him. But the moment they opened the back door of the car, their expressions changed from normal to complete horror.
The person lying inside wasn't a stranger to them. It was the same woman whose face had appeared inside this mansion every single day. New portraits of her would arrive regularly, filling the walls with her image and leaving everyone confused.
They never knew who she was or why their master was so fixated on her. But seeing her there, unconscious and unaware, made them finally understand that something far more disturbing was happening.
Before they could even process what they were seeing, his voice echoed through the silence. "No one gets to look at my play doll for more than a second." The coldness in his voice made every guard instantly lower their eyes.
They weren't looking down because of respect. They were looking down because they were afraid. Everyone in this mansion knew what happened when someone crossed his limits.
A cruel smile appeared on his face as he stepped out of the car. The same person who had been hiding behind those portraits was now standing right in front of them.
The man stepped out of the car and slowly, pulled unconscious ahana in his arms. His hands rather than being over her dress was more on her skin. Showcasing the disgusting he hid behind that cruel smile of his.
Every person standing there immediately lowered their heads as he passed. No one looked up. No one dared to ask a question. It wasn't respect that made them stay silent. It was fear.
They knew the kind of person he was, and they knew that one wrong word or one wrong action could bring his anger upon them.
The person carried ahana upstairs as he opened the door of a room and laid her on a bed. His face hovered over hers, his eyes drifting to her lips, he leaned in towards her lips when some crashing sound made him pause.
He frowned and stood up. He looked at the door and then looked back at ahana once more. His hands fisted as he lunged out of the room locking it from outside.
His steps were hurried. He quickly reached another room and opened it.
His eyes fell on a figure sitting on the bed.
"Maine tumhe iss ghar ka hissa banne ki ijazat kab di? Tum sirf iss kamre ki ek khamosh parchhai ho. Phir yeh himmat kaise hui apni maujoodgi jatane ki?"
(When did I allow you to become a part of this house? You are merely a silent shadow that exists within these walls. So tell me, how did you dare to make your presence felt?)
He roared.
The figure sitting in front of him flinched, her entire body instinctively trembling at the sound of his voice. But despite the fear lingering in her eyes, she slowly lifted her gaze and looked straight at him with nothing but disgust.
"Hazar paap kiye thee isilia biwi bani hu tum jaise insaan ki. or baat rhi Khamoshi ki? Woh to mey marte dam tak nhi houngi. Utna chain mey na mey khud jee pas rhi hu or nahi tum jaise darinde ko jeene dungi." She gritted through her teeth.
(I must have committed a thousand sins to have ended up becoming the wife of someone like you. And talking about Silence? That is something I will never be, not even until my last breath. I am already unable to live in peace myself, and I will never let a monster like you live in peace either.)
His face twisted with unrestrained fury hearing her answer as he closed the distance between them in two long strides.
His hand rose into the air and instinctively, she shut her eyes, preparing herself for another round of abuse.
But seconds stretched endlessly, yet the anticipated pain never arrived.
Confused, she cautiously opened her eyes only to find him staring back at her with an unnervingly calm smile.
Somehow, that smile frightened her far more than his anger ever had.
"Kya hua biwi? Soch rhi ho abhi tak ye haat tumhe sparsh q nhi kiye?" His head lolled back as he laughed off loud. "Hahaha... Nhi. Today I won't touch you. Soch lo aaj tumhara din acha hai."
(What happened, wife? Are you still wondering why these hands haven't touched you yet?)
(Hahaha... No. Today, I won't touch you. Consider yourself lucky that you got a good day today.)
He then looked at the woman for a split second before spitting again "Actually you know what? Let me give you some good news. Meri doll? Meri play doll? I finally got her. I finally got to see her close. To touch her. Aakhirkaar... aaj woh mere kabze mein aa hi gayi. And mey tumhe chuke mere uss haat ko firse ganda nhi karna chahata" He smirked. Darkly. Disgustingly.
(Finally... today, she has fallen into my grasp. And I don't want to dirty this hand again by touching you.)
The woman's complexion drained every trace of colour as disbelief clouded her eyes. Her heartbeat accelerated while countless horrifying possibilities raced through her mind.
"D... did you...?" The words refused to leave her lips completely.
"Oh no, biwi... I'm not as bad a man as you take me to be." He let out a low, unsettling chuckle. "Right now she's in her dreamland. Let her sleep peacefully... because the moment she opens those beautiful eyes of hers and sees her cage? I'll paint her as mine. In every way."
He smiled to himself, his eyes gleaming with nothing but lust.
Then he looked at the woman sitting before him once again and said in a fake sorry voice "So, from tonight... you'll have to stay all alone. As now I have someone far more precious waiting for me now. My play doll. And deserves all of my time. All of my attention." His smirk deepened as he looked at her one last time. "And yeah...don't get jealous. Because I will come to fuck you too once in a while. But first let me get the taste of my play doll first."
As that man left from there, the woman sitting inside started breathing fast. Her chest rose and fell unevenly as panic gripped every inch of her body. Her trembling hands instinctively clutched the bedsheet while her horrified eyes remained fixed on the locked door.
A painful tear slipped off her eyes. Not because of the man. But for the woman. For Ahana. Her heart ached for the innocent soul who had been forcefully brought into this living nightmare.
Even though She had never met Ahana personally, nor had she ever exchanged a single word with her. Yet through the countless portraits decorating the mansion and the endless obsession her husband displayed every single day, she had unknowingly grown attached to the unknown woman.
She had silently admired the love Ahana shared with Aastik. It had become the only reminder that genuine love still existed somewhere beyond these cursed walls.
And now, that very love was being tested in the cruelest way imaginable.
She wanted to save Ahana. At any cost. But how could she?
She wasn't a savior.
She was a prisoner herself.
A prisoner whose wings had been clipped long ago, leaving behind nothing but helplessness and silent screams.
She herself had been trapped inside this room for years. These four walls had become her entire world. her prison, and her regret.
She wasn't even allowed to step outside the door without his permission. She wasn't living anymore. She had become nothing more than a hollow shell... a soulless person merely waiting for each day to end.
Not her end.
But his.
Closing her eyes, she folded her trembling hands together and whispered a silent prayer. Every ounce of hope she possessed was poured into those words. "Please, God..." her voice cracked as another tear slipped free. "Save Ahana.
.. before this monster succeeds in imprisoning another innocent soul. Let her husband find her before it's too late."
Ahana
A crushing wave of dizziness engulfed me as my eyelids fluttered open with immense difficulty. My vision remained blurred while an unbearable throbbing pain pulsed through my head, making every second feel heavier than the last.
A low groan escaped my lips as I instinctively pressed my fingers against my temples, hoping the ache would lessen. Even breathing felt exhausting, as though every ounce of energy had been drained from my body.
I blinked several times, attempting to steady my vision but the unfamiliar ceiling above me only deepened my confusion. A strange silence lingered in the air, making my own heartbeat sound unnervingly loud.
"Ahhh... ufff......where am I?" I whispered, forcing myself into a sitting position despite the weakness coursing through my limbs. My eyes slowly wandered across the room, carefully observing every corner that surrounded me. The luxurious furniture, expensive chandeliers, velvet curtains, and lavish decor looked elegant, yet everything about the place felt suffocating.
Nothing here seemed familiar. Nothing felt welcoming. It was as though beauty itself had been imprisoned within these walls.
"Why can't I remember anything?" I murmured, desperately trying to gather my scattered thoughts.
My gaze then suddenly landed on the enormous mirror standing across the room, causing my breath to hitch. I stared blankly at my own reflection. My bridal lehenga was still draped around me, the jewellery remained untouched and the traces of wedding makeup still adorned my face.
It was then that countless fragmented memories crashed into my mind like an unstoppable storm. Every blurry memory returned all at once, refusing to give me a chance to breathe.
The vidai.
Aastik standing outside the car.
The driver.
The speeding vehicle.
The unfamiliar face.
The strange spray.
Everything replayed before my eyes with terrifying clarity. I tightly clutched my aching head, trying to steady myself before panic completely consumed me.
"Who... who the hell was that?" I whispered, almost too afraid to hear my own voice.
"Was it the same person... who left that blood-covered doll inside my room?"
"You're such a clever woman... doll."
A slow, breathy whisper drifted dangerously close to my ear.
Every muscle in my body instantly stiffened.
My heartbeat skipped violently while icy fear crawled beneath my skin. Goosebumps erupted across my arms as the warmth drained from my face within seconds.
My sweaty fingers instinctively curled into fists before I slowly turned around.
"Ahhhhhhhh!"
A deafening scream escaped my lips the moment my eyes landed on the stranger standing behind me. I quickly hopped down from the bed and moved backwards until I collided with the edge of the bed.
Terror spread across every inch of my body as I stared at the unfamiliar man before me. I had never seen him before. Not once. Yet the confidence with which he looked at me made it seem as though he had known me for long.
"W-Who are y..ou?" I demanded. "Why did you bring me here? What do you even want from me?"
I shouted.
Instead of answering, he simply stared at me before a slow chuckle escaped his lips. There wasn't an ounce of guilt or fear visible on his face. If anything, he appeared amused by my confusion. He folded his arms across his chest and tilted his head ever so slightly, carefully studying every expression crossing my face.
Sorry but a bastard like you can never read my face. That privilege belongs only to my man.
I thought in my mind.
"You want to know who I am, doll?" he asked, his voice carrying an unsettling calmness. "You really don't know me? His smile widened ever so slightly, making the atmosphere inside the room feel unbearably suffocating.
There was an odd certainty in his voice, as though he genuinely expected me to know him. But the harder I looked at his face, the more convinced I became that I had never seen him before.
"Why would I even know you?" I shot back, glaring straight into his eyes "I've never seen your face before in my entire life." Whoever this man is... One thing is clear. He is clearly delusional enough to believe we shared some connection.
But to me, he was nothing more than a stranger who had dared to destroy the happiest day of my life.
He then suddenly, slowly began walking towards me with infuriating calmness.
"Don't come near me"
I growled.
Instinctively, my eyes darted around before falling upon a heavy crystal vase resting on the nearby table. Without wasting another second, I grabbed it tightly and raised it between us. "I swear I'll hit you. And trust me there's no reason for me to hold back."
He stopped walking.
But instead of looking threatened...
He looked amused.
A low chuckle escaped him before he slowly shook his head in amusement. "Seriously, doll?" he asked with a grin.
"Playing with you is turning out to be far more entertaining than I had imagined. I expected fear... not courage." His words only made my grip around the vase tighten even further.
"Stop speaking nonsense!" I hissed.
"Tell me who the hell you are! Why did you kidnap me? What exactly do you want?" My voice echoed throughout the room, but he suddenly lunged forward. His fingers wrapped tightly around my wrist with painful force, making the vase slip from my other hand and shatter against the marble floor. A sharp sting shot through my arm as I immediately struggled against his grip.
"Ouch! Leave me!" I barked. Desperately trying to pull my hand free.
"Or else-"
"Or else what? Your husband will come and hurt me?" He mocked. His voice filled with nothing but arrogance. He tightened his grip even further, expecting fear to consume me.
Instead, I simply looked straight into his eyes before a cold smile tugged at my lips.
"Tch... tch..." I shook my head slowly. "Husband? Tujhe jaise aadmi ke liye mujhe mere Aastik ki zarurat bhi nahi paregi. Tere jaise darende ke liye... mein akeli hi kaafi hoon."
(Husband? For a man like you, I don't even need my Aastik. For a bastard like you... I alone am enough.)
I said and drove my knee into his stomach with all the strength I had. A painful grunt escaped him as he fell on the ground.
I looked down at him with a fearless smirk.
"I warned you."
He paused for a second before bursting into laughter again. Which only fueled my confusion and anger more.
"Stop laughing like shit." I snapped, glaring at him with nothing but disgust. "It's irritating." My voice was sharp enough to cut through his laughter, yet it failed to affect him in the slightest.
Instead, he slowly stood up, wiping the corner of his lips before looking directly into my eye.
"You wanted to know who I am, didn't you, play doll?" he asked, stopping only a few feet away from me. "Yeah... yeah I think... you deserve to know the truth. Maybe after hearing it... you'll finally feel guilty for hitting me."
He said and I frowned in confusion.
"I.. was supposed to be your husband. I was supposed to be the one standing beside you today. I was supposed to be the one touching you like you belong to me. I was the one who was supposed to be kissing you as I wish-"
Before another filthy skin crawling word could escape his mouth A tight slap landed across his face by me... with such force that the sound reverberated throughout the room. His head jerked to the side while a crimson imprint instantly appeared on his cheek
My chest rose and fell heavily as I glared at him with burning fury. If anything, he deserved another slap.
"Shut this disgusting mouth of yours." I hissed through gritted teeth. "I don't believe a single word coming out of it. Not a single one. Bastard." My voice trembled with rage as I turned away from him, refusing to waste another second listening to his delusions.
My eyes immediately began searching every corner of the room, desperately looking for some way to escape this place when suddenly his cold, calm and confident voice came-
"Tere baap ne mere paas hi becha tha tujhe apne
business k paise k liye"
(Your own father sold you to me just to get the money he needed for his business.)
